Travelogue of Public Gardens and Gardens that inspired Artists
Want to visit beautiful public gardens around the USA? Or enjoy them from your armchair? Either way this is an educational diary helping you to learn about gardens in different climate zones, interesting plants, specialized planting types, tips on ideas for the home gardener, architectural features in gardens and how to combine colors and textures to create gorgeous landscapes. I was interested to see that there are homes of Artists and Writers, open to the public, that have gardens that the artists created or were inspired by. I have included some of these sites in the travelogue.
Check out my blog for past gardens I visited before developing this course. There are some beautiful gardens described there. The travelogue has a more comprehensive look at the gardens visited and photo galleries to show different sections of the properties.
This is a written course with photos.
I am adding chapters to the travelogue course continuously. This product has a monthly subscription price of $3.99. With a subscription you will have access to all the travelogue articles past and present.

Course Giving Information about Gardening in Deer Country
Gardening where California Black Tail Deer and other types of Deer live can be frustrating. In this course I will give a list of plants that I have tested and planted in areas with Deer present, give information on barriers and repellents, discuss best irrigation for these areas and give tips on preventing damage to valuable plants already planted. You can have a garden and coexist with Deer but it requires some pre-planning and careful layout to succeed.
